best friends and their books

This was a really different read for me! But I thought it was sooo interesting. Cultish is about the language used by cults, how they get individuals to join, stay, and follow wholeheartedly.

I felt like the author put a lot of research into this book, including interviews with people who were once in these cults, which gave such a unique perspective. It made me realize how powerful language really is and that there is a huge spectrum when it comes to cults.

This book kept me so interested as I was reading and I couldn’t stop talking about it! I do wish it dove into more aspects of cults besides the language though.

Overall, I gave this book 4/5 ⭐️
