Tracie’s Version
Nora loves books, her life revolves around books. She’s a cut throat literary agent in NYC with no luck in love. After yet another breakup, her sister convinces her to travel down to Sunshine Falls, NC to the small town that their favorite book takes place.
Nora hopes to meet a charming farmer, or maybe even a successful vet, but instead she runs into her rival from the City, Charlie. Charlie is a broody editor.
With a chemistry they cannot deny, and a series of coincidence, will they become enemies to lovers?
Book Lovers was the first Emily Henry book I’ve read, although I have “People We Meet On Vacation” and “Beach Read” on my TBR. I started with this as my first due to all the good reviews it received, and it did not disappoint.
The characters are easy to love, the story line is fun but predictable, and the ending wraps everything up leaving you with a full cup. Emily Henry creates magic by including some heavy topics in a cute, happy story. The setting “Sunshine Falls” was a great small town that comically fell flat of the characters expectations.
It was a book, all rom-com book lovers are sure to adore.
