Boy meets girl, they fall in love very quickly, girl moves across the country for boy, when an attack changes everything. After Layla recovers, Leed feels the need to rekindle their romance. He takes her back to the B&B where they first met and fell in love.
Once they arrive, things start to get weird. That’s when Leed meets another guest, Willow, who puts the pieces together.
Leed starts falling for Willow, which will ultimately force Leed into a very difficult decision.

I really don’t know where to start. Layla by Colleen Hoover wrecked me. I don’t do scary, I hate anything supernatural. So when I was about halfway through I did not think I would be able to finish- I was too scared. I’m so glad Shellby and our bookgram community convinced me to because it was my favorite Colleen Hoover novel so far.

The emotional rollercoaster this book took me through. Colleen Hoover can do it all. Seriously. The writing was superb. It has been a while since I had read anything from a males point of view. The cleverness and uniqueness of this story have me still thinking about it frequently. How does she come up with this stuff? I love that she is always trying new things and does not stay in one genre. She is so versatile and there is truly nothing CoHo can not do.

Much like all of Hoover’s books, I couldn’t put it down (in daylight).

The only thing I did not enjoy about Layla, was Leed. I don’t see what the point was to make the “hero” a narcissistic f* boy… Ah well.

Layla is my favorite Colleen Hoover book so far and gets 5/5 ⭐️’s!
